to abandon the bullied

I redrew this scene a while ago, from the word girl movie. I think this scene wasn't really focused on enough: I mean, here's a kid who's probably already bullied for his nerdiness, who's only purpose in life is to impress this amazing girl by creating amazing things with great power, and then she just goes up to him and tells him he's worthless, like it's some kind of joke, and he just... gives up. her doubt should have had at least a bit more screen time, because this is when she realizes how much her words affect people. a simple glance back would have been enough.
